DA NANG CUTS TRAIN FARES

Da Nang City train station has reduced the price of one-way tickets from the central coastal city to Ho Chi Minh City, the station’s deputy head Do Thai Lam said Thursday.

Passengers who buy tickets 30 days ahead of their trip will get a discount of 30 percent.

Those who purchase tickets 60 days in advance will get 40 percent off.

For the north-south route, passengers who buy tickets 30 days ahead of their trip will get a discount of 10 percent.

Ninety days in advance will win travelers a 20 percent saving.

The station will start the discounts on September 15, Lam said.
